Three deeds, one dated Mar. 26, 1796 recording the sale of land in Cornwall to Seth Storrs by James Douglass; one dated Aug. 23, 1797 recording the sale of land in Middlebury to Seth Storrs by Eliakim and Samuel Reed; and one dated Jan. 16, 1808 recording the sale of land in Middlebury to Moses Leonard by Seth Storrs.

In Oct. 1796, land on the west side of Otter Creek was transferred from Cornwall, Vt., to Middlebury. The parcels covered by these deeds were all part of that land. Most or all of the property conveyed in the deeds from 1796 and 1797 later became part of the Middlebury College campus.
